Can girls join Mitchellville Little League?
Absolutely! We encourage both boys and girls to join our league. The teams are co-ed and many girls playing Little League have actually gone on to play in the Little League World Series!
What does my registration fee cover?
Registration fee covers a hat, a shirt with the player's number on the back, field maintenance and charter fees.
When does the schedule come out?
This question gets asked every year and we wish we could provide a schedule right away so you knew when your child would play.
Unfortunately, schedules can't be determined until after registration because we have to take into account how many teams from each league there will be.
They generally come out in early April with games starting mid April.
When do games start?
They generally start in mid April. Little Sluggers start date is usually in May.
When is field clean up day?
That depends on the weather. When the weather warms up, we will communicate the clean up day date.
Are there restrooms at the ballfields?
We do have restrooms at the fields that are located on the West end of the concession stand building.
Because the water cannot be turned on at the park (due to cool temperatures) those restrooms do not open until around May.

Are there waterfountains at the ballfields?
There is a waterfountain at the South field. The fountains are turned on in May when the cool weather passes.
